Spokesman on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection
Malcolm was first elected MEP for the West Midlands in 1999. He is Conservative Spokesman and Epp-ed Group Coordinator on Internal Market and Consumer Protection. He is a substitute member of the Industry, Research and Energy Committee.

Malcolm was formerly a partner in a motor industry consulting company, Harbour Wade Brown from 1989 to 1999, and was UK and Overseas Sales Director for Austin Rover.

Malcolm fought Birmingham East in the 1989 European Election. Born in 1947, Malcolm is married with two children. His interests include travel, cooking, choral singing and motor racing.
